the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for day to day interaction with current and past customers of Apex Solar Power. The CSR will field and categorize all customer service inquiries via call, email, and texts for proper channel routing. The CSR will utilize company tools and software to guide Customers through the inquiry towards resolution depending on complexity and attitude.
The CSR primarily will focus on satisfying the wants and needs of our customers post-sale and post-install. Presale inquiries should be directed to the Inside Sales division. The CSR needs to be knowledgeable on all facets of product offerings, market incentives, and some technical aspects of system troubleshooting. This is an Exempt Salary position. Representatives will be expected to put in additional hours when needed.

responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and resolve customer inquiries in the CRM
  • Effectively troubleshoot inquiry to resolve alone if possible
  • Efficiently determine proper channel for inquiry to be resolved if not possible by CSR
  • Methodically follow cases thru department to resolution
  • Conduct follow up surveys for clients post installation
  • Conduct PV system explanation call post net metering crediting
  • Responsible for the timely management of production guarantees
  • Generate referrals

the position

The roofing crew consists of laborers, mechanics, and foremen. The mechanic is responsible for performing all the detailed work on site.
In addition to taking care of the finer details of the work, the mechanic works alongside the rest of the crew.

  • Perform technical aspects of roofing
    – Shingle
    – Flashing/Metal Work
    – Valley Work
  • Communicate progress updates and issues with the foreman throughout each project
  • Travel and stay overnight when needed
  • Employ safe working practices.

qualifications

  • Previous experience as a roof mechanic is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Thrive in a team environment, yet able to work separately from the crew and complete work independently.
  • Ability to work long days and possibly weekends.
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold).
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops.
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.

  • Keep the vehicles clean and presentable at all times.

qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold).
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Thrive in a team environment.

Candidates must be licensed and have a demonstrated experience in these fields as solar professionals. Our installers and electricians assemble, install, and maintain photovoltaic systems on roofs and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. Tasks may include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules, as well as minor electrical work like current checks and Main Service Panel upgrades/modifications.
